Terms and Conditions
By booking with The Student Domain (SD), you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions:
- You agree that you have read and understood both the Cancellations and Refunds policy and Privacy policy.
- All bookings can be altered (Rescheduled or cancelled) up to 24 Hours before the lesson slot time through “My Account” page or “My Bookings” from the top drop down menu. For more information, please see Cancellations and Refunds.
- Bookings cannot be resheduled or refunded wihtin 24 hours of lesson slot time.
- No refunds will be issued if a student does not show up for any reason, if you need help, please contact us on info@thestudentdomain.co.uk.
- The Student Domain (SD) and staff do not tolerate any violence or negativity towards staff, or other students. These may result in your ban from the SD, any future bookings will be cancelled (and refunded), and your account will be deleted.
- The Student Domain and staff do not take responsibility for student actions.
- The Student Domain and staff do not take responsibility if students leave the virtual classroom early or quitting the virtual lesson.
- If only one student is in the virtual classroom, the lesson automatically becomes 1-to1 tuition at no extra charge.
- Provide the student details, including the student’s email address to receive the lesson links. These are required at the registration stage. If you miss your lesson due to providing incorrect details, you will not be offered a refund or the ability to reschedule that lesson. (please see privacy policy for more information).
- Not to share lesson links or passwords with anyone else other than the invited student. Failure may result in your lesson being cancelled.
- Use the chat facility in the virtual classroom for the sole purpose of the lesson and not as a means to socialise. Students may ask questions and have light interactions between themselves with regards to the subject content.
- If parent/guardian details change, you can manage this through “My Account”.
- If student details change, contact info@thestudentdomain.co.uk or call us to change them on the system. Failure may result in missing the lesson, which is non-refundable.
- Weekly attending students will get a free progress report every 3 months, which will be emailed to the parent/guardian. This only applies to those attending 1-to-1 online lessons, and does not apply to students attending virtual classrooms.
