Testimonials

When visitors send testimonials, they are validated by admin before being posted on our site. Only the first name is added next to your testimonial. All other data is not shared with any third party. You can always request this data to be deleted from our website and database.

If you make an account on our site you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Student details can be changed, or requested to be deleted by contacting info@thestudentdomain.co.uk.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Analytics

By default, WordPress does not collect any analytics data. However, many web hosting accounts collect some anonymous analytics data. Some installed plugins may collect data for analytics like OptinMonster.

How we protect your data

The SD does not share, sell or use your data for any purpose other than administrative. If you choose to save your bank details during payment for repeat bookings, they are not held at the SD, but with your banking portal. The SD does not collect or share you banking details.
